Design Rationale

I created a logo for the "Fizah Bakery" brand that is cozy, amiable, and home-made. A round, scalloped badge that resembles a quality mark is used in the logo. This form demonstrates the bakery's integrity, compassion, and homemade love. Additionally, the scalloped edge adds a lovely and intimate touch, bringing the company closer to its target audience.

 Peach and light pink are the primary hues. Pink evokes feelings of sweetness, joy, and femininity, which is consistent with the notion of lovingly baked cakes and sweets. Peaches provide additional coziness and warmth, which promotes contentment and relaxation. These hues were selected to establish a warm and inviting brand and to develop a deep emotional bond with consumers.

The name "Fizah Bakery" is written in a loose script style for the font. This gives the brand an approachable, intimate, and heartfelt appearance. In order to make the tagline "Homemade Cake & Cookies" clear and readable while simultaneously giving it a contemporary and polished appearance, I chose a simple sans-serif typeface.

 All things considered, the logo design demonstrates my approach as a designer who produces work that is memorable, genuine, and compassionate. It displays my ability to create compelling brand identities that resonate with consumers as well as my enthusiasm for being an imaginative and perceptive graphic designer.

Color Palette

  • Light Pink (#F9D5D3):
    Represents sweetness, friendliness, and warmth, reflecting the comforting feeling of homemade baked goods.

  • Dark Pink (#D27D7D):
    Adds richness and a mature, professional touch to balance the playful feel.

  • Cream (#FFF3E9):
    Provides a soft and cozy background, symbolizing purity and simplicity, important qualities for a homemade bakery.

  • Yellow (cake color):
    Symbolizes joy, warmth, and optimism. It reflects the happiness customers feel when enjoying Fizah Bakery’s cakes and cookies.

  • Red (cherry topping):
    Represents passion, love, and excitement, linking to the bakery’s passion for creating sweet delights.3. Typography

  • Typography (Main Font):
  • The logo uses a curved, cursive-style font for "FIZAH BAKERY" to show friendliness, elegance, and a homemade feel, suitable for a bakery brand.
    For supporting text like "Homemade Cake & Cookies," a clean, round sans-serif font is used to ensure readability and modern appeal.

  • How It Represents the Brand:
    The combination of handwritten and sans-serif fonts gives a balance between traditional homemade values and a modern business approach.

 Visual Identity Guidelines

  • Textures/Patterns:
    Use of scalloped (wavy) badge outlines, checkered tablecloth patterns (seen in the banner), and hand-drawn bakery items.
    These elements create a cozy, handmade atmosphere that matches the “homemade” brand personality.

  • Graphical Elements:

    • Illustrated cakes, cookies, macarons, and cupcakes to build a fun and friendly mood.

    • Minimal, pastel-colored kitchen tools (forks, spoons) as decorative elements.

Social Media Banner (for  Instagram)

Design Purpose:

  • To introduce Fizah Bakery’s brand online with an inviting, cozy, and sweet atmosphere.

  • Focal Point:
    The large "Cake & Cookies" title is bold and eye-catching, immediately telling visitors what the brand is about.

  • Engaging Composition:

    • A combination of colorful, hand-drawn desserts and a pastel canopy at the top, creating the feeling of a sweet bakery shop.

    • Website URL and tagline ("Enjoy our cakes and cookies—pure bliss in every bite!") included for branding consistency.

    • Balanced use of illustrations and white space to avoid overcrowding and maintain a clean, professional look.
